Alpinekat drops some mad science!

CERN Rap from Will Barras on Vimeo.

This is the kind of rap that I am about. Falcon and I tried to get into space rap, but I think we only produced one song. One of the problems was that we are film majors...I took a couple of astronomy courses, but not enough to create mad rhymes like in this video. I do have several criticisms. Yes, the rhymes and beat are tight. I don't feel that the rap is hard enough...their needs to be more salty language...maybe mixing the genre with sea captain rap. Basically what I'm saying is there needs to be more foul language. Also, sex sells. Where is all of the sex. Borrowing a quote from the film Save the Last Dance, "Put some S-E-X in those H-I-Ps"! Maybe they'll try again and get it right. Great first effort.

GI Joe Stop Motion Zombie movie

This is a pretty awesome short stop motion piece. I pretty much love anything with GI Joes in it. I love the way they handled the zombie Joes. Also great set! Joes playing pool! This pretty much has everything. usual list of things that makes any video better.

Nite Fite Sell Out--Pretty Funny Stuff

I just saw this on Since they had it on their site, I decided to post it here. Why should they get all of the good posts? When is it my turn? I don't care if they saw it first. I mean...I guess I didn't have to say that's where I saw it, but I have honor and pride! Doesn't that mean anything to you? Doesn't it?!

Death Race 2000 remake-WHY?

I can't believe Jason Statham is a part of this remake. This had to be one of the worst movies that I have ever seen. Link to trailer DEATH RACE 2000.

Who knows...maybe I was in the wrong frame of mind?

Crank (the best movie ever made ever) is getting a sequel! Yes, Jason Statham will be reprising his role. Some people might be disappointed by this, but I am not. I plan on icing my hand down for at least 2-3 weeks in advance. There will be a ton of high-fiving! I wonder what kind of stuff he's going to have to do to keep his heart beating? Maybe he'll slam his hand or member in a car door. What ethnic group could he offend in order to get into a fight? That would be good. Maybe there could be an homage to Dumb and Dumber and he could eat some hot peppers and shot mustard and ketchup in his mouth to cool down. I could speculate all day long about what kind of shenanigans Chev Chelios will get involved with, but I won't. What sort of stuff do you think he should do? I don't know if I can wait until Spring 2009. That's right! Corey Haim is in it(Personally I think both Coreys should have been involved and maybe Data from the Goonies).

Cities at Night from Space

Pretty cool. I wish they would have used the Armageddon Suite for this one. I couldn't find a link to that song, so here is a midi version of I Don't Want to Miss a Thing.

Ping Pong/Wrestling

1st Ping-Pong Lesson With Lucha Lib from Lost Post Service on Vimeo.

Pretty interesting. The humor reminds me of cartoons. If that makes sense.

Cool Science Experiment

Potassium Chlorate is used

* as an oxidizing agent,
* to prepare oxygen,
* as a disinfectant,
* in safety matches, and
* in explosives and fireworks.

Cocktail Machine! This is neat!

Pretty cool to watch! I don't know if I have enough patience to set something like this up. It would be cool to see a system like this set up that creates a flaming shot. Fire makes everything better.

Unicorn Cartoon pt 2! This is Crazy!

This has everything you want in a cartoon. Amulets, unicorns, a song, and bananas. The only things that it is missing is U.S. history elements, Nic Cage, Ghosts, and breasts. Otherwise this is pretty good and crazy fun! Sorry for being M.I.A. for so long.

America...Brace Yourself

Great Music Video

Intern Jonathan found this gem. This is possibly one of the best music videos I've ever seen. This is what the director had to say about it:

"I did this video for a Russian Metal Band called ANJ. It is pretty crazy. When I saw the lyrics it seemed to be an earnest tribute to Mikael Gorbachov (that's how the Russians spell it), so I was a bit confounded about what the video concept should be, but then I had a brainstorm to take it way over the top and I think it was just the thing. Suffice to say it's half Russian History allegory as told through an old zombie movie made in the Soviet Union, and half animated Soviet Propag
