Julio Still Don't Eat Beans!!!

Football season is a couple of weeks away. Alabama's first big game is with Clemson and it looks like Alabama's freshman receiver core will see some action. Yes, there has been a ton of hype about Julio Jones, but according to my number one source for news (my wife), he is living up to the hype. What this means is Saban is probably happy and when he's happy there is some sort of majestic glow that originates from his stylish mane. I'm feaking pumped! More jacked about this than I am after I drink a couple Pibb Xtras. So....I decided to revamp my Julio Don't Eat Beans t-shirt. I think this one is pretty cool.

I wonder if there is way to get Nic Cage to wear one of these in National Treasure 3. He's gotta be a BAMA fan! I've seen ConAir. He's just gotta be.

Oh yeah...If you didn't see my initial post, you probably won't have any idea what I'm talking about. Or you might not anyway. The winner of Alabama's spring game is served steaks by the losing team. The losing team not only has to serve the winning team, but they also have to eat BEANS. My favorite team is the White Squad(starting Defense). Too bad it looks like Julio will probably play on the Crimson Squad (starting offense). I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Morning Musume

Morning Musume is a j-pop act ( that's japanese pop, y'all). There are like 30 of them and they are all the cutest - everyone of them. This is my favorite thing that ever happened.

Fagottron

A mash-up/remix artist by the alias of Fagottron created this really mesmerizing beat from sound elements within Alice In Wonderland. I thoroughly enjoyed the laid back beat and the vocal mix almost sounds like Bjork. He's done this with a few other films as well.

Motion Graphics with a Message

I learned about Good Magazine when I checked out one of motionographer.com's quickies. Quickies are links to various things that they deem cool, but not cool enough to devote explanation or a great deal of their attention to (I think that's how you would describe quickies). Anyway, they had a link to a video about the World's oil consumption. After viewing this video I checked out a couple of their other videos that were posted on youtube. What really impressed me about these videos was the way that they creatively and effectively conveyed their message with motion graphics.

I would have to say this video was the most entertaining video that I viewed. It's a rap video with information about endangered species. This is the kind of edge that the science rap video that I posted yesterday could of used. Pandas with gold chains and gold grills...always a winner!

This video and issue may be a little less current, but I like the way they used western images with the candidates. Pretty Cool.

I think this magazine is something that should be checked out. They definitely have a fresh and entertaining way of getting information out to the public. Good Magazine
